Four Playoff Teams: Michigan State, TCU, Georgia, Clemson
National Championship Game: Michigan State vs. TCU
National Champion: TCU
I’m going to stray from the majority of analysts in the country as well as our own staff, and say that Ohio State will not be in the playoffs. They are prime for a fall against some unlikely opponents this season. I’m not saying they aren’t good, but this is college football where strange things happen.
Clemson will unseat FSU on top of the ACC, and will have a one-loss season coming into the playoffs. Michigan State will shut down Deshaun Watson to end their season.
The SEC West is not as strong as everyone believes, and if Georgia can stay healthy, they can beat whoever comes out of the West and secure a spot in the playoffs. However, the offensive machine that is TCU and Trevone Boykin will be too much for the Dawgs.
Michigan State will finally put it all together, come out on top of the Big Ten, and pound their way to a national championship game, but won’t be able to match up with the Horned Frogs offense.
