For all the hoopla and hoorays surrounding the Razorbacks, they’ve still yet to get it done when it counts

While it’s true that Arkansas is becoming relevant again for the first time since Bobby Petrino

was escorted out, Bret Bielema’s team still shouldn’t be considered top 25 caliber just yet.

Heading into his third season in Fayetteville, Bielema has the Hogs defense looking solid and the running game ranking among the best in the nation (although without Jonathan Williams this year, that part of the offense could take a step back). But for all the hoopla and hoorays surrounding the Razorbacks, they’ve still yet to get it done when it counts.

Improved…yes. Ready to move up? Not if they keep losing to the cream of the SEC like Auburn, TAMU, Alabama, Georgia, Missouri, etc.

When Arkansas finishes a season with more than just seven wins, I’ll be ready to look at them as potential top 25 material, but they aren’t there this season – although a fairly soft non-conference schedule could help give them a boost.
