This is a big transition season for Kansas. They let go former head coach Charlie Weis in favor of the young, unproven David Beaty. As the former receivers coach at Texas A&M, Beaty was a passionate motivator and fiery recruiter. His prowess for connecting with college athletes will be helpful in building trust and relationships with his players.

Beaty will also bring with him an “Air Raid” offense. It will be very similar to what Texas A&M runs now; a classic Mike Leach offense, the Jayhawks will be lining up fast and running lots of plays. Kansas’s fans can expect to see lots of bubble screens and quick passes to open the running game, and perhaps games where their pass attempts are upwards of 50.

With a new and improved offense, a new coach, and a fresh start, the Jayhawks are primed for rebuilding; which is why they come in at 10 on this list.
