4. Michigan State Spartans
The Big Ten is the only conference to face three of the nation’s top four teams from the postseason poll. Michigan State is looking to enact some revenge on Oregon after a fourth quarter collapse in Eugene last September. The Spartans led 28-19 before giving up 28 unanswered points to close the game.
The Spartans face a tricky challenge the following week when Air Force brings its triple option attack to town with all of its main ball carriers returning from last year’s 10-3 team. Sparty draws Purdue and Michigan State as its cross division games. Everyone is circling November 21 and Ohio State.
The Spartans must contend with a number of challenges before and after the Buckeyes with the Nebraska and Maryland before the trip to Columbus and a visit from Penn State to close out the 2015 regular season.
