With the possible exception of Ole Miss, Texas A&M has been arguably the most impressive team in the SEC through the first two weeks of the season.

The Aggies are once again explosive on offense, averaging 47 points and 464 yards per game thus far, and have made big strides defensively under new coordinator John Chavis. The A&M defense has held opponents to just 326 yards per game this year, which is an improvement of 125 yards per contest to date compared with last year’s unit. Even though Texas A&M allowed 23 points to Ball State last week, the Aggies led 49-3 at halftime.

On the other side, Nevada head coach Brian Polian was fined and reprimanded for his actions while arguing with officials in last week’s 44-20 loss to No. 22 Arizona – a game in which the Wolf Pack allowed 570 yards of offense. Polian and his team is likely to be in for another frustrating game Saturday afternoon in College Station. However, can the Pack cover the five-touchdown point spread?

Five touchdowns are a lot, even when a great offense faces a bad defense. The 11AM local start time (9AM Pacific time for the boys traveling from Reno) could also be a factor. Expect both teams to start a little sluggish in the first quarter, which makes the points and the under attractive bets.
