Rece Davis has a new job as the host of College GameDay, but he tried his hand at a rapping career today, but he shouldn’t quit his day job.

You get a little bit of everything when you tune in to College GameDay to start your Saturday full of college football. Today’s episode from Tuscaloosa where GameDay is in attendance for the Alabama-Ole Miss game featured host, Rece Davis doing a little rapping.

Rapping?

Yes, well, sort of.

Ole Miss starting quarterback Chad Kelly has so much swag that he has a rap song with the appropriate title of “Chad Kelly”

Kelly made the rap when he was a four-star high school recruit, who would later commit to Clemson before being booted from the team, later transferred to junior college and transferred to Ole Miss this year where he won a three-man quarterback competition. He’s helped lead Ole Miss to an average of 74.5 points per game through two games.

So if Rece and Swag Kelly ever got in a rap battle, who are you taking?

You can listen to the original in the soundcloud clip below.

But I think we all know who the real winner is. It’s all of us for witnessing Rece breakout the deadpan delivery of the rap lyrics on GameDay.
