Miami (FL) 36, Nebraska 33 (OT)
This was one of the crazier games of the weekend as Nebraska overcame a 33-10 deficit to force overtime. Tommy Armstrong had a very shaky game. He finished 21-for-45 with four touchdowns and three interceptions.
The concerning stat for Nebraska is allowing 511 yards. The defense has to improve and Armstrong can’t turn the ball over. Nebraska is 1-2 but the non-conference experiences should benefit the team in a wide-open Big Ten West. Nebraska is currently a 21.5-point favorite against South Miss. The line opened at 23.5.
