Can Nick Chubb Do Nick Chubb Things Against a Quality Defense?
Georgia has some serious depth at running back, probably the best group of backs in the nation, but it call comes down to Nick Chubb and how much pressure he can take off everyone else.

The sophomore tailback is a legitimate Heisman contender, and is one of the hardest working backs in football, but he has had his problems against the better run defenses – something which Alabama has always prided themselves upon.
Last season, Chubb ran for 1,547 yards when he was really only the starting/featured back in 10 of Georgia’s 13 games. But against Florida and Georgia Tech, two of Georgia’s losses last season who both have solid run defenses, Chubb ran out of gas (or was defended better) in the second half of those games.
If Chubb can continue his streak of 100-yard rushing games (which stands at 11 right now), and can force Alabama’s linebackers into creeping up into the gaps, it will help open passing lanes on play-action and designed bootlegs, something Alabama has had trouble defending as of late.
If the Tide are able to stop Chubb (and similarly Sony Michel) cold, then they can put Greyson Lambert on ice.
