Oregon Ducks at Colorado Buffaloes

  • Point Spread: Oregon -12

If you would have said Oregon would be 2-2 by Week 5 this year, people might have called you crazy. Just last week, the Ducks were blown out at home by visiting Utah and it doesn’t get easier this week against Colorado on the road.

The Buffaloes might not be ranked, but they are currently on a three game winning streak in Boulder. They will certainly have the momentum going into Saturday night’s contest. An upset over the Ducks would be the biggest win Colorado would have in years.

College football fans are used to seeing Oregon competing for a national championship every year. Even though they have a .500 record, are we overreacting? The two losses come via ranked teams in Michigan State and Utah, but is Vernon Adams the answer at quarterback?

Mark Helfrich and company will need more than new uniforms this weekend should they want to get back in the win column. The Buffaloes, under head coach Mike MacIntyre, will look to take advantage of a deflated Oregon football team. It’s been a long time since Colorado has reached the postseason having not played in a bowl game in 8 years. A win this Saturday would put them over halfway there.
