He’s thrown for at least three touchdowns in every game this season, and has quietly led Oklahoma to a top 10 ranking. Mayfield has also been effective running the ball, leading the offense in rushing touchdowns with four on the season.
Their break out running back, Samaje Perine, isn’t quite having the year most would have expected, but it’s Baker Mayfield getting the job done and dispersing the ball across the field. He’s thrown a touchdown to 8 different targets this season, and has five targets with over 100 receiving yards on the season, and three over with over 200.
A Red River Rivalry could call for a tough game depending on how Texas responds after their embarrassment to TCU. Texas hasn’t been able to stop top quarterbacks such as a healthy Malik Zaire, as well as Jared Goff and Trevone Boykin.
