Florida took a shot up the polls this week to number 11, and rightfully so. The Gators are undefeated and post victories over SEC teams Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ole Miss. Jim McElwain looks like he just might be the answer in Gainesville, but as you know, nothing comes easy in the Southeastern Conference.

The Gators will travel to Columbia, Missouri to take on the two-time defending SEC Champion Tigers. Since arriving in the SEC, Missouri has done nothing but win football games and head coach Gary Pinkel will have his players primed for the upset.

Missouri will rely on what has become their niche in the last couple of years and that’s the defense. Florida also has a strong defense which leads me to believe unlike TCU/Kansas State, this will be a low scoring affair. A win over Missouri and a Georgia loss would put Florida back atop the SEC East, a place familiar to Gator Nation.
