This is a special team in Salt Lake. They’re simply beating their opponents on many levels. Everyone will continue to doubt them because of the perception of Utah only a few years removed from the Mountain West, or being a bottom feeder in the Pac-12.

Utah just might be the best team in the country, playing one of the most complete schedules in the nation. Michigan is the best one last team in the country and that one last one came by the way of the Utah. A thrashing against the Orion in Eugene and now a win vs California on the big stage shows, that you that Utah is here to stay.

Travis Wilson is not the most reliable quarterback that you want for a top 10 team but Devontae Booker and the stingy defense will help lead the way. They picked off Jared Goff five times and made him look silly this past weekend, and he’s a guy who many have projected as a top five pick in the NFL Draft, with two standout receivers. Their schedule gets tough starting this week, when they host Arizona State and then follow it up with a road trip to USC. Until then, it’s all Utah’s to lose in the Pac-12 .

But depending which Arizona State team shows up, Utah might be in trouble. But a win over the Sun Devils, and Utah can be in the driver’s seat and complete control the Pac-12 South.
