First game they will lose: at Washington Huskies, Nov. 7
After beating Michigan, Oregon and Cal, there are many who have picked Utah to go all the way to an undefeated season and the Pac-12 Championship game.

Given the Utes remaining schedule, that seemed like a pretty good bet. It was going to take an upset to end the run, and an upset it will be.
Washington already came close to upsetting Boise State in the season opener, and then brought down the mighty Trojans in their own house last week. Huskies head coach Chris Petersen was a BCS-buster when he was running the show at Boise, and now his team is upsetting the apple cart in the Pac-12.
Utah will be a heavy favorite in this game, and the game may start off looking like they’ll make quick work of the Huskies, but the second half will turn the game around. Petersen will use trick plays, turnovers, and the outstanding play of freshman quarterback Jake Browning to bring an end to the Utes’ impressive run.
The Utes may still end up playing in the Pac-12 Championship game, but they won’t finish with an unblemished record.
