No. 7 Michigan State Spartans

First game they will lose: at Michigan Wolverines, Oct. 17

The Spartans haven’t looked like a Top 5 team, which is why they dipped in the rankings after their struggled to beat Purdue this week. Now having to travel to Ann Arbor to play in-state rival Michigan, the weaknesses will be exposed even further.

The Wolverines are playing absolutely unbelievable defense, pitching three straight shutout games, and only giving up 6.3 points per game, first in the nation. With Connor Cook and some of the other offensive weapons that the Spartans possess, it’s doubtful Michigan will get their fourth straight shutout, but it will still be another notch in the win column.

Jim Harbaugh has everyone believing in the Wolverines, and the Spartans will be the next page in quite a chapter he’s writing in his first season as head coach, and the next step on the way to a possible Big Ten Championship game appearance.
