This is a must win game for UCLA. A loss here, and they would have two Pac-12 losses on the season, dropping to 1-2 in the conference. The way the Pac-12 North has shaped up, Stanford might be on cruise control with their remaining schedule. California will certainly have some difficulties along the way, allowing Stanford to clinch.
With that being said, I think UCLA comes out very hungry, having a week to prepare for Stanford, and an extra week to think about their loss vs Arizona State at home. However, I don’t think it’ll be enough to take down the Cardinal. This Stanford team looks complete in all three phases of the game, and have looked like one of the best teams in the nation these past four weeks. They’re well beyond their loss at Northwestern, and out to prove their dominance, keeping their name in College Football Playoff contention.
Stanford’s offense has been hot this season, and they’ll keep it rolling. The road team has had great success this season in the Pac-12, and UCLA will make it a close game, but the Stanford Cardinal might just to be too overbearing.
