Washington State is coming off a big win at Eugene, and Oregon State just got blown out at Arizona. Yet both have three wins, and both are fighting for a shot at bowl eligibility.
Oregon State is not very good, and Washington State should have no problems here. The passing attack will tire out the defense and get the Beavers breathing heavy early on. Maybe the Cougars will even be able to establish a run game here.
Being down early is something Oregon State must avoid, with true freshman Seth Collins still trying to adjust to the pace of the Pac-12. The offense will struggle mightily and the Cougars will have their passing game running on all cylinders. This would be shocking if Washington State doesn’t win by at least three possessions.
