The Pac=12 is about as hard to figure out as solving a Rubik’s Cube. If you told me that Utah would be undefeated and ranked fourth in the nation in Week 7, I probably would have laughed you out of the room, but here we are. The Utes are a solid football team with wins over Michigan, Oregon, and California.

The talk going into the year in the Pac-12 surrounded the usual suspects Oregon, USC, Stanford, UCLA, and Arizona State. Oregon is nowhere near the program they were the past five years. USC and UCLA seem to be declining and Stanford continues to win after arguably the first upset in 2015 suffered against Northwestern.

Where does that leave Arizona State? The Sun Devils seem to winning the uniform game this year with more swag than Oregon, but on the field, it’s hard to tell which football team you are going to see. The one who beat UCLA on the road two weeks ago, or the one that got blasted in Tempe by USC?

ASU has a very balanced offense with quarterback Mike Bercovici and running back Demario Richard, who are both having a solid year. Speaking of solid years, Kyle Whittingham’s Utes are perfect through five games. They have a future NFL talent and playmaker in Devontae Booker who can both run and catch the ball.

Utah will have revenge on their mind after losing two close battles with the Sun Devils in the last two meetings. Each game was decided by just four points. Expect a close game that might just come down to who scores last or what defense makes the stop to end to secure the win.
