UCLA has to be desperate for a win, and they’ve been desperate for leadership on defense. With Ishmael Adams coming back up in the news, we’ll see if he even gets to suit up this week for the Golden Bears. Jared Goff will be able to have a field day vs this depleted defense, and they’ve had an extra week to prepare for this matchup.

No game is easy in the Rose Bowl, but it’s hard to see these Bruins bounce back from their two deflating losses. Teams have seemed to figure out Josh Rosen, and their defense is doing them no favors. Expect Jared Goff to bounce back from his five interception game vs Utah, and shred this UCLA defense in front of the home crowd.

With a win, California will be able to challenge Stanford for the top spot in North, and make them sweat just a bit until the Golden Bears drop another game. And with this loss, it puts UCLA completely out of the South race at this point.
