The battle of two last place teams in their division here. Although both occupy last place, Colorado is still a far better team than Oregon State this year. There has to be a loser here, and someone is walking away with a 5th loss on the season through 8 weeks.
Colorado proved that they compete against some good talent, giving Arizona a scare and keeping it close with Oregon, all while keeping the ASU loss a respectable one. Sefo Liufau and Nelson Spruce are a deadly combo on offense, and there doesn’t seem to be a comparable combination for Oregon State. Seth Collins is still learning every game, and the Beavers just don’t seem to have it all together.
Playing in Corvallis certainly gives the Beavs an advantage, but it’s hard to see this team winning a game in the Pac-12. The Buffaloes should come out motivated for this one, after letting a W vs Arizona slip through the crack in the 4th quarter.
