No. 9 Florida State Seminoles at Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

Point Spread: Florida State -6.5

Sticking with undefeated teams in the ACC, Florida State is next on the list. Seminole fans are getting used to this and to their credit, the team just keeps on winning. However, I stand by my previous statement of it’s not a matter of if, but when.

Sophomore Heisman candidate Dalvin Cook sure has been one of the bright spots of this team and is close to eclipsing the 1,000 yard mark on the season. Everett Golson is also enjoying a successful senior season having thrown for 11 touchdowns and zero interceptions, but the level of competition hasn’t been challenging.

Georgia Tech has played some quality games, but are on a five game losing streak which includes losses to Duke, Clemson, Notre Dame, and Pitt.

Why would I pick the Yellow Jackets to win? They have nothing to lose and a team with nothing to lose is dangerous. Add that to the triple option offense which is not an easy task for any defense, and you can see why this might be a difficult game for Jimbo Fisher and the Seminoles if they can’t stop the run.
