Tommy Tuberville – Head Coach, Cincinnati Bearcats

While Tuberville hasn’t experienced anywhere near the success he had at Auburn in his two stops after the Plains — Texas Tech and Cincinnati — he is still a quality coach who knows the SEC well, and wants to run a clean program.

Maybe a return to the SEC is what’s needed to refresh Tommy’s soul and get some of his saltiness back. He’s another coach with a defensive pedigree, and has lots of recruiting ties that would help keep any current UGA commits.

This would be a reach by Georgia regardless. Chances are if they want to replace Richt, it will be with someone  younger and a much fresher face than one of the old guard of the SEC (excluding Saban of course). But it wouldn’t be the worst hire the Bulldogs could make by any stretch.
