Tommy Tuberville – Cincinnati Head Coach

The 61-year-old head coach of the Cincinnati Bearcats has ties to Miami after serving as an assistant and defensive coordinator from 1986-1993, but is he too old to rebuild this program?  Whoever gets this job will need to be patient because it’ll take two-three years to really build the program for sustainable success, but Miami certainly could do worse than Tubs.

During stops at Ole Miss, Auburn, Texas Tech and Cincinnati he has a career record of 151-88 with a 7-5 record in bowl games. His teams at Cincinnati won nine games his first two seasons before this year’s 3-3 record so maybe he’s looking for a change?
