Chuck Pagano – Indianapolis Colts Head Coach

Chuck Pagano wouldn’t willfully walk away from coaching Andrew Luck in his prime, but if the Colts struggle the rest of the year and falter in the playoffs again, Colts general manager Ryan Grigson may pull the plug and fire him. Should Indianapolis fire him and Pagano doesn’t get offers to be a head coach at any other NFL teams, he could be lured to Miami.

Pagano first coached at Miami as a grad assistant before he was named the defensive backs coach on Davis’ staff from 1995-2000 and also coached special teams. He recruited and coached players like Ed Reed and Sean Taylor and would be a home run hire for the Canes because he can sell recruits on getting to the NFL like he did with past Miami greats.

But if Miami wants Pagano, they need to root against him on Sunday’s to have a chance.
