Christian McCaffrey has emerged as a Heisman finalist, powering the Stanford offense this season. In every win this season, they’ve scored 31+ plus points, and it’s largely due to his McCaffrey’s success. If not for Leonard Fournette, there might not be a more valuable running back to an offense than McCaffrey for Stanford.
He’s a triple threat to this offense, on the rushing, receiving and return fronts. Believe it or not, Christian McCaffrey leads the nation in all-purpose yards, averaging 270 yards all by himself. Of course he has a great offensive line to work behind, but once he gets the ball, he pretty much does all the work himself.
He’s so elusive, and that’s what gets him going into open space, and makes him a great option out of the backfield. When your dad is Ed McCaffrey, you’re probably going to have some pretty good genes, and it looks like he definitely got them.
