2399.
The Owls remain undefeated, but they needed to come back towards the end of the game for the win. ECU kept themselves in the game by playing strong in every aspect–except for the two turnovers compared with Temple’s zero. Temple had a good game overall, and P.J. Walker was turnover free and threw for 250 yards, but the team allowed ECU to keep it too close.

Next week Temple has a big opportunity. Just like Memphis’s win vaulted the Tiger’s ranking, the Temple Owls can jump with another quality win themselves when the Fighting Irish come into town on Halloween.

A win over Notre Dame would also be good for the American Athletic Conference and would help make a case for its inclusion in the playoff. Notre Dame’s only loss came at Clemson after an unsuccessful two-point conversion late in the game.
. (7-0). Previous: 3rd. Temple Owls. 4. team
