This is a must win for both programs here. The loser, will fall to .500, and that can’t be appealing for either team, considering their expectations this season. With Utah’s loss to USC, this opens up a door of opportunity for Arizona State. Meanwhile Oregon is trying to stay afloat in the North and salvage what is left of their season.
Arizona State’s defense will give the Ducks some trouble, although Vernon Adams had an extra week to study, and an extra week to heal up. This could be a high scoring game, considering the defense of Oregon. Arizona State’s hasn’t been as high-powered as they once were last year, but the Ducks will give them plenty of chances to drive down the field on big plays.
Arizona State can be very inconsistent, but I think that they come out on top in Tempe, despite their horrendous 0-3 record on Thursdays in the Pac-12 under Todd Graham.
