USC is much better than their record says, and California is still a true threat in the conference with their offense. Jared Goff hasn’t been great in his last two performances, and he’ll be going up against a testy defense this week, which picked off Travis Wilson four times last week, three coming from Cameron Smith. This is a solid Trojan team with talent across the board.

They have to keep their momentum rolling after unseating Utah last week, and continue to make a push for the Pac-12 South. Playing at California doesn’t give the Golden Bears much of an edge, but it will allow them to keep it much closer than if played at USC.

This might be the best game of the weekend in the Pac-12, with two talented teams going at it, and it should be one of the closer games as well, with USC just barely covering the 5.5 points.
