Arizona is stumbling into this game, with a quarterback controversy and a terrible defense. Meanwhile Washington has their quarterback, but no clear direction on offense. Their defense has kept them in games all season long, and it could be exactly what they need to get a win over Arizona, and get back to .500 on the season.
This is a desperation game for Arizona, as they don’t really have a break going forward in their schedule, with USC, Utah and Arizona State remaining on their schedule. It’s hard to believe Arizona gets it all together after suffering an embarrassing loss vs Washington State, and the Huskies have been able to remain competitive in all of their games. Washington matches up extremely well here, with their lack of offense, and Arizona’s lack of defense, as well as Arizona’s struggling offense going up against their stagnant defense.
On a cold, rainy night in Seattle, expect this one to be sloppy game, with not a lot of offense going for either team. But the Husky defense will prevail and keep them on top.
