The very best College GameDay signs from the Temple Owls – Notre Dame Fighting Irish game on Halloween features some hilarious creativity as usual.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the center of the college football universe today as Temple is the host site for ESPN’s College GameDay as the Owls hope to put on a show tonight for their game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

The fans embraced the opportunity to be the host city and this is a huge weekend for the Temple program and the university as a whole as they get their moment to show the national audience that they’re more than a cute story to start the year and have staying power as a potential College Football Playoff team.

Temple is undefeated and if they are able to get past No. 9 Notre Dame today, they have a shot to beat Memphis and Houston in the American Athletic Conference Championship Game and have a resume full of high-quality wins, provided Memphis and Houston suffer their first losses at the hands of the Owls.

Historically, Temple has struggled against ranked teams, owning a 5-100-1 record against opponents in the AP top 25, including a 1-41 record against teams in the top-10, according to ESPN’s Brett McMurphy.

But before we get to the game, there was the pregame festivities of GameDay to get excited about and students and fans of Temple were out in full force with some creative and humorous signs that make up this week’s edition of the ‘Best College GameDay signs.’

Naturally, when Notre Dame comes to town, the movie Rudy is going to be an easy source for sign makers.
