Derrick Henry has a big one coming up, matching up against the leading Heisman candidate in Leonard Fournette with the LSU Tigers coming to Tuscaloosa.
He had an extra week to prepare for this moment, and he should be ready to roll. He’ll have the advantage of playing at home, so we’ll see how the LSU rushing defense comes up on the road. He has scored a touchdown in every game this season and best games come at home, so expect Henry to come up big.
Alabama is one of the most complete teams in the nation, and Henry is benefiting. There’s a sizable gap between Henry and the top two candidates, so he has some work to do but it starts on Saturday night in the game of the week.
