These two teams seem to be trending in opposite directions right now. A controversial call gave Oregon the win over Arizona State, marking their 5th win of the season. This team isn’t as bad as we once thought, losing three early games, which is very uncharacteristic of Oregon in this past decade. Oregon has been great on the road this season, falling just short to Michigan State early in the season, while dropping two at home early.
On the other hand, Cal has lost 3 straight, and their schedule is not getting any easier. It’s not that they’ve hit a lull, but they’ve just been playing some tough teams in this conference, and are being outplayed. They play a tough schedule, and they’re starting to feel the effects.
Expect this game to be a shootout, with Vernon Adams healthy, Jared Goff looking to bounce back and keep his top-10 draft status.
