Season Stats: 58 receptions, 1178 yards, 20 touchdowns
Last game vs Kansas State: 11 receptions, 216 yards, 2 touchdowns
With Baker Bayfield out, Coleman will need to be Jarrett Stidham’s best friend. This might be a Heisman candidate who should have been on this list earlier, possibly over a Baker Mayfield, or Devontae Booker, but after his 200 yard performance with a true freshman quarterback, here he is.
Earlier, it was Seth Russell who was in the limelight, but since his injury, Coleman comes into the picture. He’s pulled in 100+ receiving yards in every game this season, besides Iowa State, where he went for 85 yards, and still caught two touchdowns.
He’s averaging over six catches a game, and over 20 yards a reception, Baylor’s vertical offense at its finest. With only a few more games, against some of the toughest Big 12 teams, a few more usual performances and he will be in NYC.
