Last game vs Colorado: 23 carries, 210 all-purpose yards, 28-yard touchdown pass
There’s not a lot that Christian McCaffrey can’t do. Going up against the Colorado Buffaloes, he had 210 all-purpose yards, and even threw for a touchdown.
He’s still the nation’s leader in all-purpose yards, and has proven to be a pivotal piece to this puzzle. We saw three top 10 teams lose this week, and Stanford is licking their lips, looking to crack the top 10, and make a case for the College Football Playoffs.
This is a high-powered offense, and it relies on the chemistry between McCaffrey and Kevin Hogan in the backfield. But now that we know that McCaffrey can throw the ball, this offense has become a lot more dangerous. Reverses, pitches, and half back passes are all in the realm of possibilities for Stanford now.
