Last game vs LSU: 38 carries, 210 yards, 3 touchdowns
Derrick Henry had a lot to prove on Saturday, constantly being overshadowed by Leonard Fournette. Facing up against the LSU Tiger defense, Henry put on a show. Averaging over 5 yards a carry, Henry looked as if he was running like Leonard Fournette. He was hitting the hole, dragging dudes down, and doing whatever he wanted, really.
His 17 touchdowns leads the nation, and he is hot on the tails of Fournette when it comes to rushing yards now.
Henry could have had even more yards as well, because Kenyon Drake also took 10 carries for 68 yards. Henry went full beast mode, and Alabama is looking like one of the best teams in the nation now. If Henry continues to power this offense like he did vs LSU, which he has all the potential to do, this could be a close race down the finish.
Next: Leonard Fournette
