Stanford is poised to win out, win the Pac-12 Championship Game, and make it to the College Football Playoff. It makes you wonder how much noise would be surrounding this team if Stanford didn’t lose to Northwestern in Week One.

Without that loss, Stanford is safely in the playoff conversation. But it give it time, Cardinal, they could still get there if they win out .

Yet another 30-plus point performance, this time putting up 42 on Colorado. There’s no stopping this offense, and their offense is helping out their defense by keeping them off the field, and keeping them fresh.

With the senior quarterback Kevin Hogan flourishing, and Christian McCaffrey literally doing every on offense, that’s probably the best one-two tandem in the nation right now.

They do have play Notre Dame to end the season, and that will have huge implications for both programs. Both likely top four-eight teams at that point, we’ll be in store for a good one.
