Oregon is quietly picking up their season, after many people wrote them off after losing to Washington State at home. This isn’t a bad team, but this isn’t the same team led by Marcus Mariota, or Chip Kelly anymore.
Oregon has a pretty rough schedule ahead, but Vernon Adams is capable of making some things happen. Their defense, not so much, and that will cause a lot of problems against Stanford this week. But that game could be a complete shootout with a final score coming of 48-41. Oregon might only end the season with 7 wins, but that might be the best five loss team in the nation.
Oregon being at No. 6 truly shows the depth of the Pac-12, because if you were to match up Oregon against the sixth best in any other conference, Oregon would likely be the favorite in that matchup.
