(W at SMU 60-40). Previous: 6th. Temple Owls. 3. team. 2399.
Temple is back in the hunt for number one following a close loss to Notre Dame. While the defense is probably not happy with giving up 40 points, the 20-point win should be pretty satisfying. If the Owls finish the regular season strong, they’ll play in the conference title game, most likely against Houston.

The Owls had a good night offensively, led by quarterback P.J. Walker’s five total touchdowns. Jager Gardner had a 94-yard touchdown run early in the game and gave Temple some momentum. Temple scored 22 points in the fourth quarter and SMU scored 16, totaling 38 between the two.

Temple faces USF on the road this Saturday.
