Washington is trending up and Arizona State is going in the complete opposite direction. Arizona State is the favorite in this one, but this is easily a game that Washington could have been picked as the favorite. Washington kept it close with Utah, but just fell apart in the 4th quarter, which could have killed off any momentum they had hoped of having, snagging two straight wins.

The Sun Devil offense has been far from superb to say the least, and Washington has a rock hard defense, the best in the conference. Both teams are fighting for bowl eligibility, and a loss here could potentially shut either team out from contention.

Arizona State has the advantage of playing at home, but I don’t know how motivated this team is, after once having national championship aspirations, now on the outside looking in for a bowl game. If Arizona State plays to their full potential, they will dominate this game, but they typically play up to most opponents, and have the tendency to play down more times than not.
