Oregon State just got shut out by UCLA, at home. This Beaver team is not good, and they’ve been at the bottom of the power rankings since the beginning. But California is struggling. After going 5-0, they now sit at 5-4, and have a very real possibility of missing bowl eligibility.
California might be struggling right now, but Oregon State is just that bad. A 21.5 point spread might be a little harsh, especially considering how bad California has been as of late, and how much of a toll their schedule has taken. Maybe 14 or 16 might have been a bit more fair, but I would expect California to cover this.
Oregon State’s defense has the potential, but hasn’t really shown up, meanwhile Seth Collins still seems to be learning the offense. With a hungry, and desperate Golden Bear team, this should be an easy bounce back game for them.
