This is the most intriguing matchup for the Pac-12 South this weekend. Utah needs to continue to win to hold their lead in the South, but Arizona played a great game vs USC last week, and has the potential to take down another top 10 ranked team.

I see another, because Rich Rodriguez is really good when it comes to top 10 teams. In his last three years, he’s defeated a top 10 team. A win here, would give him four wins in four years vs top 10 teams, a feat that only Nick Saban and David Shaw have accomplished to date. In each of the past three years, Rich Rodriguez has also defeated Utah, so this game has all the makings for the upset.

But Utah is a complete team, on offense, defense and special teams, and in order for Arizona to win, they’ll need to get on top early, and make Travis Wilson beat them, not Devontae Booker. Arizona’s defense is horrible, probably the worst in the Pac-12, allowing 40+ points in Pac-12 play. I expect Arizona to keep this close, but definitely give Utah a ride.
