Another great game on our hands here. UCLA is quietly a top 20 team, sitting at 7-2 overall, with a broken defense and a true freshman quarterback. Meanwhile, Washington State is having a great year themselves, just a missed field goal away from being on top of the Pac-12 North.

Both teams seem to be out of the race now in their respective division, so now all that’s left is a better bowl game. This is a late kickoff, in the Rose Bowl, and it’s a shame, because this could be a very close game, that could be decided on the final possession.
10.5 points is very generous for UCLA, and I don’t have that much in confidence in UCLA winning. I get a feeling that Washington State either survives by a missed field goal for UCLA to win, or just blows them out by a final score of 41-17. But I kept it conservative, and went with the latter. The Cougar offense might just be too much for the defense, and that might force Josh Rosen to feel some pressure that he might not be able to handle.
