Final Four: Alabama, Oklahoma State, Clemson, Houston
Conferences Left Out: Big Ten, Pac-12, Notre Dame

In this final scenario, the Big Ten is left out by virtue of the Big Ten winner being a two-loss team – either Ohio State beats Michigan State, loses to Michigan and loses in the Big Ten Championship game, or Michigan wins the Big Ten title game over Iowa (yeah, it mathematically could happen).

Houston would find their way by going undefeated, seeing the Big Ten fold near the end of the season, and more carnage in the Pac-12, leaving a two or three-loss team as their champion. They would also need Notre Dame to lose a game, and for Alabama to hold serve in the SEC (A Florida victory in the SEC would hurt the Cougars).

Oklahoma State would win out and push their way in to finally get the Big 12 into the playoff picture, and undefeated ACC champ Clemson would take the last spot.
