Navy remained turnover free against SMU and had a great defensive performance. Reynolds scored Navy’s first three touchdowns and the Midshipmen surpassed 400 yards rushing on the day. Navy had fantastic conversion rates on third and fourth, and had just one penalty. Coach Ken Niumatalolo is putting together one heck of a program.

Navy Midshipmen (W 55-14 vs SMU)
Last week: 8-1 record
Last rank: 2
Keenan Reynolds only needed one rushing touchdown to set the NCAA career rushing TD record, but he got four rushing scores instead and one passing touchdown as he made a statement, a possible Heisman statement at that.
He now totals 81 career rushing touchdowns and with three games left on Navy’s schedule, is really turning heads. He has 17 touchdowns on the year (the same as Leonard Fournette), and although he may not beat his 31 touchdowns scored as a sophomore in 2013, he is improving as a player.
