Northern Illinois is back in business this season. Following a string of losses, the Huskies are looking good. Buffalo wasn’t an easy team to beat, but NIU came up with a double-digit win with their new freshman starting quarterback.
Ryan Graham took over for Drew Hare two games ago and helped lead Northern Illinois to an upset win over Toledo. Last week Graham was effective at leading the offense, as he had a nice game throwing and running against Buffalo. Runningback Joel Bouagnon ran for 156 yards and two scores on 28 carries. The defense forced three interceptions and held Buffalo to just 78 yards rushing.
