Arizona just has Utah’s number, and they can’t get past the hump. A double overtime loss for the Utes now puts them at second place in the Pac-12 South, after holding it for so long.
This is one of the best teams in the conference, on all three phases of the ball. But that loss to Arizona definitely took any College Football Playoff hopes away from the locker room. With USC’s upcoming schedule, and their struggles, Utah still has a decent shot at representing the South. They have UCLA on their schedule, so that’s going to be a tough one, with both teams having a to get over a late lost.
