No. 15 LSU at No. 22 Ole Miss – Sat, Nov 21, 3:30 PM ET

Point Spread: Ole Miss -4

The eye test will tell you picking the LSU Tigers to win at the Ole Miss Rebels is one that’s sure to go wrong. LSU is coming off back-to-back losses against Alabama and Arkansas where they were thoroughly dominated on both sides of the ball and Leonard Fournette was held to a total of 122 yards on 38 carries.

Ole Miss is tied with Alabama for the fewest rushing touchdowns allowed this year among SEC teams with five and the Landshark defense is only allowing 3.19 yards per carry, tied with Florida for third best in the SEC.

By all accounts, you’d be foolish to pick LSU to win this week, right?

Wrong, Les Miles has never lost three straight games at LSU and there are reports he’s coaching for his job this week and next against Texas A&M. I don’t see Miles losing three straight and I don’t see Fournette being limited this week. Miles is 7-3 against the Rebels in his time at LSU, including winning four of the last five.

It’s time for LSU to get back on track this weekend against a good, but not great, Ole Miss team.
