Poor Oregon State. For the past six weeks I’ve said the Beavers would go winless in the Pac-12 this year and it’s holding up to be true. But, if they were to have one mildly decent shot at winning, it’s against Washington, in Corvallis before Oregon in the Civil War next week.
This isn’t a very talented team for Oregon State, but Washington definitely has their own flaws. To win, Oregon State will need to force turnovers and capitalize on them. Washington by no means has an effective offense, but it’s their defense that will help shut the Beavers down.
Washington is just a much better team despite their 4-6 record. They have two Pac-12 wins against USC and Arizona, and have a shot next week against Washington State. I don’t expect Oregon State to score a lot of points here, and Washington’s offense might be able to move the ball pretty well against the Beavers. 15 is a big spread for UW, but I like them here.
