25. Twitter

If you haven’t spent a college football Saturday trolling Twitter and watching all the amazing conversations going on, you don’t know what you’re missing.

Twitter has become a digital sports bar, where you don’t have to worry about being groped by the creepy drunk standing by the bar (unless you have your DMs open). Pick a game…any game…and you’ll find people tweeting, complaining, cheering, joking and showing highlights.

There’s a hashtag for everything (see photo above), and you’ll find everyone from the most seasoned journalist to former players joining in the chats.

If you are someplace that you’re unable to stream a game to watch it live, just follow the Twitter stream for that game. The next best thing to being there, and you don’t have to listen to certain announcers (yeah, we’ll get to that later).
