Toledo Rockets (W at BGSU 44-28)

Last week: 10-1 record
Last rank: 3

Toledo got a statement win over Bowling Green last week. A double-digit win over the high-powered offense lead by Matt Johnson got Toledo back near the top, but the Houston and Navy winner will probably remain ahead of the Rockets. Toledo outgained the Falcons and only had one turnover to Bowling Green’s five.

Toledo also needs NIU to lose against Ohio to make the MAC Conference Championship. If the Rockets don’t find a way to win the MAC then they’re going to drop a couple spots, and you can make a case for them being below Northern Illinois considering they lost to them earlier this year. But I think Toledo’s win at Arkansas holds a lot of weight, especially with the way the Razorbacks are playing of late.
