It seems like many aren’t talking about Notre Dame here. They’re still the No. 6 team in the nation and their only loss was at No. 1 Clemson on a failed two-point conversion.
With Stanford’s loss to Oregon, they took themselves out of playoff contention, and this game would have had serious implications for the College Football Playoff. Technically, Stanford still has a chance, but it’s looking pretty slim outside the top-10. Notre Dame is loaded with NFL talent, and they have a lot of decent wins, but they haven’t exactly been tested this season nearly as much as Stanford.
With Christian McCaffrey coming off a career night, I like Stanford at home, but I’m not so sure they would cover the spread. Stanford has scored at least 30 points in every win this season, but I can see them only putting up about 20 points this week.
